A: The running time for the in-school version of Kid Power & the Planet Protectors is 55 minutes.
Kid Power® is happy to shorten the performances to meet your specific scheduling needs, although we do not recommend shortening the shows because your students will miss out on valuable curriculum lessons.

Q: Are there grants available to help my school pay for this in-school assembly?

A: YES – there are several. This link is an example: Fuel Up to Play 60. Also, please call 1-800-834-9334 for additional info on grants.

Q: The brochure says the programs are geared for grades K-6. My school includes K-8. Will my upper grades enjoy this show?

A: YES – Kid Power® Programs are enjoyed by all ages and the lessons are valuable for all ages. However, when middle school grades are involved we STRONGLY recommend the upper grades join the same performance as the younger grades. We do not recommend scheduling an additional performance where the upper grades (5-8) have their own performance. If your student body is large enough to need multiple performances, our recommendation is to put the 7th & 8th graders in the same performance as the Kindergarten & 1st graders. Better yet, create a buddy system and place each older child with a younger child and have them sit together. The older kids will take great pride is helping their young peers with the 3D glasses and they will demonstrate leadership during all aspects of the show’s participation.

3D Glasses

Q: Does everyone get a pair of 3D glasses?

A: Yes - everyone, students and adults, receive 3D glasses to watch the performance. The 3D glasses are souvenirs to keep and use on our web site.

Q: Is Kid Power & the Planet Protectors in 3D?

A: No - At this time Kid Power & the Planet Protectors is not in 3D. We are fundraising to upgrade this show to 3D. If you’d like to give to support this project, please visit our donate page.
